Job Description

Working Sound Board & Lights at a Venue and Hate the Late Nights?

Functions and Duties:

Maintain existing A/V infrastructure such as televisions, mixers, effects, etc. to work properly and sound great
Prepare, assemble, test, and ship state-of-the-art private-room karaoke systems
Devise A/V installation plans for new store openings, and coordinate the work of others to achieve successful store openings
Setup and manage the lab environment, keeping inventory stocked and organized
Devise microphone repair and replacement program for Voicebox stores to maintain full supply of working microphones
Develop and implement plan for replacing feature lighting with modern options that exceed guests expectations
Utilize experience in sound engineering or mixing to regularly tune karaoke suites for optimal guest experience
Explore changing hardware form factors and potential impacts on our systems. Develop and implement a plan to address needs.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a team environment.
Ability to design end-user focused AV solutions for internal and external clients.
Pro-active self-starter who exhibits initiative and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with analog and digital audio/lighting consoles in Theatrical and live music settings.
Experience with hang and focus of stage lighting equipment.
Experience with live streaming and broadcast production.
