Job Description

AVS, LLC. provides professional audio-visual and video conferencing expertise to many of the vertical markets within the private and corporate practices.                                                                                                                                  A/V Integration company seeks a technician with 2-4 years minimum commercial low-voltage experience .
Candidates should have experience with structural mounting of equipment as well as experience with pulling and terminating AV and IT cabling including the ability to solder or crimp connections.
Job requirements include:
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively
with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a professional manner even
when under pressure.
• Willingness to take on new tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• Lifting, moving, and transporting equipment up to 75lbs, sometimes overhead.
• Work on ladders and occasional work on lifts to heights of 20+ feet.
• A clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Good understanding and practice experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Outlook.
• The ability to read and understand CAD layouts.
• Must own basic tools.
• Will be amenable to time shift work on an occasional basis when required.
• Will be able to assist in the creation of VMA’s and also support MBUSA digital
signage C-Nario platform.
• Deliver phones to new users at ATL HQ (note* phones are preconfigured by the
network team).
• Documentation / Work Process and Procedures / Installation Documentation.
• Remote support for remote locations.
• Vendor Coordination Support Senior EM for all meetings / events.
• End user training.
• Configuration of VA / AV devices.
• Manage Security vulnerabilities with client Qualys scans / find solutions and
implement.
• Any other duties assigned by AVS and/or MBUSA management.
• A background check is mandatory as a condition of your employment.

1. Existing Polycom Infrastructure
2. Cisco: MX/SX/DX/ Room Kits / Room 55 / WebEx Team boards
3. Microsoft Surface Hub
4. Barco ClickShare
5. Crestron Air Media
6. Crestron Processors
7. Crestron NVX
8. Atrium Digital Signage
Preferred candidates will have the following experience:
Infocomm CTS certification, and/or a technical degree, advanced computer skills, configuring/troubleshooting experience with hardware including audio-DSP, A/V control, video and audio devices, and USB based software applications. Preferred candidates should have experience with some or all of the following major brands including Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom, Tandberg, Lifesize, and Smart.
