Responsibilities

Responsible for performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs and management of all telecommunication circuits and connections.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

May be responsible for one or more of the following:
Perform troubleshooting and repairs of telecommunication systems to include but not limited to: phone circuits; internet, backbone and subnet connections; fiber terminations and MDF cable plant management
Union between Client(s) and Operations Team for special projects and ongoing infrastructure management
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems
Troubleshoot, evaluate and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities
Assist Operations Team with fiber, copper an electrical raised floor circuit management
Possess competent knowledge of use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and critical infrastructure maintenance
Maintain and organize raised floor environment
Complete/ assist with routine critical facility maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent
5+ years related telecommunications experience, in a Critical Facility or DataCenter desired
Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas:
Telecommunications and/or low-voltage electrical
Driver’s license is required
Successful drug screen and background checks required
