Salary: $26.16 hourly 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Audio Visual Lead Technician leads and coordinates, as well as performs, the activities of audio visual technicians and production staff who provide audio and visual services to clients. Ensures proper set-up, installation, operation, inventory and repair of audio and visual equipment and systems for the Oregon Convention Center shows and events. Candidate should have a strong aptitude for problem solving under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service. Acting with a sense of urgency and motivating others is an important function of this role. The ability to work within a team and resolve disputes with professionalism and tact is vital. This position may perform rigging 30 feet or higher and will be paid $30.30 hourly while rigging.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of four (4) years of experience operating audio visual equipment and a High School Diploma or GED; OR any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities. A current and valid driver’s license issued in the state of residence is required. Preferred: candidates who have knowledge of and experience working with rigging equipment
